Generally Very Good + condition, some rubbing and edge wear, all edges guilt! Small, unobtrusive  stain area on lower front board. Altogether a beautiful rare and early edition of GMD's classic written in serialized magazine format during 1869 and 1870. The first single volume edition was issued in 1871, in London and NY. The same British sheets were used for the US version. This copy especially fresh and strong! A great addition to any serious GMD Library!
