Generally Good + to Very Good - condition, a strong and sound volume with some rubbing and fading. A scarce copy represented well for 123 years young! These stories originally appeared  in 1867, this volume is a reprint presented in the Talwyn Morris design by Blackie out of London. These short stories received their life originally during the mid 1860's, when MacDonald was entering into his prime as a children's story teller of the highest order! Three of his most famous short stories are herein printed, a delightful volume! Very scarce to find in decent condition, with great shelf presence. From my personal library.
