This edition of P&G from J.M. Dent and E.P Dutton is from the same Children's Illustrated Classics series mentioned in the 1956 edition of ABNW illustrated by E.H. Shepherd listed elsewhere in this "Raiders" blog. But this title was first published in 1949 (and last reprinted in 1965) - - so my edition is from 1965.

The eight color plates by Charles Folkard are delightful - as you can see from the cover art, there is a slight resemblance to Arthur Rackham illustrations. There are also excellent line drawings throughout. I recommend that you pick up a copy of this book in any condition just to enjoy the drawings.
