The Scots/English editions of MacDonald's novels have been redesigned (the key feature being a new spine) in order to create a collectable, fully matching set that will look great on any shelf. Beginning with the soon to be published Malcolm, every future edition will be released in this format, and we are also working backwards to "re-spine" all our former translations. The first to receive the treatment is MacDonald's most popular novel, Sir Gibbie—the newly-designed edition is now available from The Works Bookstore and from Amazon—with Donal Grant to follow before Christmas, and Robert Falconer & Castle Warlock to come in due course. Sir Gibbie also features some minor edits to make this new volume a truly definitive edition.

Each of the Scots-English editions feature my translations of extensive passages of dialogue in the Scots language side-by-side with the original text.
